Cracks, fractures or bending of the motor Shaft generally have the following situations, and it is recommended to check frequently to avoid serious consequences.
- If the transverse crack of the shaft does not exceed 15% of the journal, and the longitudinal crack does not exceed 10% of the circumference, it can be repaired by repair welding, and the car can still be used after it is leveled.
- If the shaft cracks to a certain extent or the shaft breaks, which affects the safe operation of the motor, a new shaft should be replaced.
- If the rotating shaft is bent, the bearing will be subjected to external pressure, and severe bending will result in bore sweeping, and even the motor rotor cannot rotate in the T-shaped cavity.
The treatment method is to mount the shaft on a lathe and check with a dial gauge; if the curvature of the shaft does not exceed 0.1mm per meter, and the curvature of the full length does not exceed 0.2mm, correction is generally not required; if the curvature is relatively large If it is large, it should be corrected by pressing with a press, or after evenly surfacing on the surface of the curved part, it is processed to the original size on a lathe; if the curvature is large, the shaft should be replaced.
