We need to use a variety of equipment and devices in industrial production, but the normal operation of many equipment and devices cannot be separated from the credit of precision motor shafts. High-quality precision motor shafts can make processing methods more diversified. Make the processed product more prominent. Since its role is so important, if it is damaged, it will be repaired in time. How to repair it?
The more common performances of precision motor Shaft damage include keyway wear, journal wear, shaft bending, shaft cracks, and partial fracture of the shaft extension.
If the keyway is worn out, spot welding can be used for surfacing. If the worn layer is not very serious, it can also be remedied by widening the width of the keyway, but the widened width cannot be too large. If it cannot be widened, another keyway can be milled.
If the journal is worn, it can be slightly corrected on the lathe or grinder to reduce the diameter of the journal, but it should not be less than 6% of the original diameter, and the sliding bearing should be replaced.
If the shaft is bent, you can first check the degree of bending from the dial indicator on the lathe. If the bending angle is very small, sometimes it does not need to be corrected. If the complete angle is not very large, you can polish the shaft When the neck is bent at a large angle, you need to use tools such as a screw press to correct it. If the neck is severely bent, you must first heat it and then use a forging machine to correct it.
If the precision motor shaft is cracked or broken, there is no need to repair it in this case. You only need to replace a new motor shaft, but the new shaft must be the same in model and specification as the old one.
